- Joana Kwabena-Adade (jkwabena-adade{at}uhas.edu.gh) is a sociologist and a lecturer at the Department of General and Liberal Studies, University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho. She obtained her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from the School of Social Sciences, University of Ghana, Legon. Her research focuses on population ageing, social support systems for the elderly, emerging forms of care for the elderly, ageing and health, and gender and development.
